Monthly Summary – July 2021

Hello kittens,

As you’ve probably been able to tell, I’m getting back into the swing of things after the weirdest year. I’ve mentioned before that I enjoyed the slower pace of life, but I think things slowed too much for me. That meant that all of my motivation went out of the window. Looking back, I think I was feeling a little down and maybe depressed. I didn’t notice at the time, but now in hindsight I definitely do.

I am feeling much better. As always with matters of the brain, I just needed to take a little time and recover. Mr Delightful and I are still on our health kick, exercising and eating well. I am actually enjoying what we’re eating and don’t feel as if I’m going without – always a bonus.

When out on our walks, I’ve taken to bringing some nuts with me. Although I do adore cashews, they’re not for me. One of my new aims in life is to befriend the squirrels and become the squirrel girl. Obviously I have decided to do this through the power of food. As with everyone and every animal, feeding them fosters a trust. Yesterday, one came down from his nest for nuts. It may seem a little sad, but it made me genuinely happy.

My latest content I’ve been busy creating is scans of magazines from the 1950s. I’m lucky enough to be able to get hold of these, so I have been sharing for research for all of you that visit. It’s taking time to upload, but I would love it if you checked it out.

Pretty soon we’ll be out and about again which is terrifying and exciting all at once. We’re actually planning to visit a beach. That should be fun right? Of course I’ll share pictures of me playing on the beach! I’ve even brought a tripod and remote in preparation to take some snaps.

Until next time,
