Monthly Summary – August 2021

Hello kittens, We’re over 8 months into 2021, and I’ve only just started to get myself out and about. This means that we are both fully vaccinated now and finally feel comfortable (ish) when out and about. I do still wear a mask indoors and on public transport. My view is that this whole thing is far from over and we still need to be sensible, but we also need to continue on as we can. I think I’ll continue to wear a mask in those situations permanently – I have quite enjoyed not having every single cold that comes …

Monthly Summary – July 2021

Hello kittens, As you’ve probably been able to tell, I’m getting back into the swing of things after the weirdest year. I’ve mentioned before that I enjoyed the slower pace of life, but I think things slowed too much for me. That meant that all of my motivation went out of the window. Looking back, I think I was feeling a little down and maybe depressed. I didn’t notice at the time, but now in hindsight I definitely do. I am feeling much better. As always with matters of the brain, I just needed to take a little time and …

Monthly Summary – June 2021

Hello Kittens, Well once again we’ve come to the end of another month, and my mind is of course blank as to what I’ve been up to. The work pressure has either eased or I have gotten better at managing my time (who knows, it’s probably both) so I am feeling a little more in control. This has meant I’ve had more time for introspection and I am truly excited for the days when we’re comfortable with being out and about again. We have still only had one jab each, so aren’t quite there yet but almost! I have noticed …

Monthly Summary – May 2021

Hello kittens, Well, another month has flown by and I’ve not been doing a lot apart from working and sleeping. Actually, I fib a little there. We have been watching some great shows and movies recently. I did splurge and watched Cruella on Disney +. I’ve always felt she was one of the most underrated style icons in the disney world, especially as she’s a designer. But this movie didn’t disappoint. If you haven’t seen it, then I won’t spoil it but there are some looks in there that I can’t wait to dig deeper into to share a “get …

Monthly Summary – April 2021

Well, another month has flown by hasn’t it? It’s strange how in a pandemic our lives seem to go a lot quicker than usual. Perhaps filling our days with adventures mean that time is slowed down a lot. Who knows! When I start thinking about the passage of time I tend to start having an existential crisis so I will stop thinking about it… Like many others over the last year, I have gotten a little bit fluffy around the middle. I still love the way I look, but unfortunately my clothes are a lot tighter and some don’t fit …

Monthly Summary – March 2021

Well, this hasn’t been updated for a very long while. That probably means there is either going to be very little in here or it’ll be about ten million pages long. I think for almost everyone 2020 was one of the worst years. The pandemic has affected every facet of life across the world. I was going to keep a written journal of the times, but as we headed into the first lockdown last year in the UK and I saw the empty shelves that people had cleared to stockpile, I suddenly felt very depressed and worried about the whole …

March 2019 – my monthly roundup

Hi again kittens, I know it’s already halfway through April, but I have been so so busy! But it’s all worth it. So, my month has been filled with lovely food, exploring our new town and watching shows and movies that make me want all of the things. As I write, the sun is shining, I can see the Cotswolds off in the distance and I’m amazingly at peace. Even though my brain has been scrambled a little with information I’ve been taking in at work. It’s exciting to be part of the future of the company though, I’m along …

Update: February 2019

Hello my beauties, I’m staying on the monthly updates, just to give a little insight into what happens behind the scenes here at ohsodelightful. So buckle up, get yourself a cuppa and enjoy 😘 At the start of this month, I was still plugging away at getting gainfully employed, being a holly housewife and working on my never ending sewing pile. I’d given myself to the end of the month to get a position equal to, or better than my previous job; then I was going to start exploring other avenues. I’ve also started a digital marketing diploma, as you …

Update: January 2019

hello my beauties, I’ve not been very good at updating this site since we moved – it’s been a whirlwind of getting settled in and learning new things so I thought I’d give you all a little round up of what my month has looked like. I am currently working on a complete overhaul on how Oh So Delightful looks and feels when you visit. Don’t worry, you’ll still get all the vintage tips and tutorials as well as fashion and lifestyle inspiration – the site will be a little more sleek and easy to use. I really hope you …

New adventures await us…

Hello beauties, So, you may already know this, but if not I have a huge, exciting and a little bit terrifying announcement to make. It’s been a rollercoaster; but now everything (and me) has calmed down a bit I’m ready to share. No I’m not pregnant (being a certain age and female you’d be surprised how many people think I’m up the stick) I don’t even know where to start with this. Well, I guess the situation is probably best otherwise no one will have any clue at all what I’m waffling on about. But first, here’s some amazing vintage …
